What is GS1 Data?
GS1 Data is a product information service designed to meet companies’ growing needs in product information management. The service operates as a centralised solution for the exchange and management of product information between suppliers and parties receiving product information. Consistent and high‑quality product information improves the flow of information throughout the entire supply chain and supports collaboration between companies.
As a supplier, you can create and manage product codes (GTINs) and maintain and share product information with your customers easily and efficiently.
For retail groups and other parties requiring product information, GS1 Data provides up‑to‑date and harmonised information from different suppliers through a single channel.
The service can be used either via a browser‑based user interface that guides data entry or through integrations.

GS1 Data Tuotetiedot for product data suppliers
The annual fee is 25 € /product* (VAT 0 %)
- Payment minimum 500 € / year (VAT 0 %)
- Payment maximum 15 000 € / year (VAT 0 %)
*) An active product means a base unit whose status in GS1 Data Tuotetiedot is published or live. The amount of products to be invoiced does not include drafts, discontinued or canceled products, nor cases or pallets. The unique GTIN of the base unit is counted only once.
When ordering the service, the annual fee portion of that year (remaining full months) will be invoiced. For example, when ordering in May, seven months of the annual fee is paid (June–December). The payment is based on the estimate of the number of products given by the customer.
In future years, the billing period will be the calendar year and the annual fee will be billed in January. The payment is based on the number of active products in the service. It is calculated as the average of the product quantity of the last weekday of each month of the previous year.

Annual fee 3 000 € (VAT 0 %)
When ordering the service, the annual fee portion of that year (remaining full months) will be invoiced. For example, when ordering in May, seven months of the annual fee is paid (June–December).
In future years, the billing period will be the calendar year and the annual fee will be billed in January.
All prices shown on the page are VAT-free (VAT 0%). The payment period is 14 days net. We reserve the right to price changes.
