We are a service organization of about 25 experts supporting the success of Finnish companies. We offer global standards, digital services and know-how that bring efficiency and ease to, for example, the management and sharing of product-related information in supply chains. Our customers are appr. 7 300 companies, from small entrepreneurs to the largest companies in Finland.

Our services, which are based on global GS1 standards, are widely used in the trade industry, and our standards are also used in e.g. in the identification of medicines and healthcare equipment and in logistics. More than 2 million organisations around the world use GS1’s standardisation solutions, and every day, the GS1 identifiers are included in recording and transmitting more than 6 billion trade transactions.

 

International, open and impartial

As part of the GS1 network of 116 countries, we are involved in international standards development work and bring its results and solutions to the benefit of Finnish companies. As an open and impartial operator, we can offer our client companies a neutral platform to network and develop their own industries in cooperation.

 

Strong industry experience in the background

GS1 Finland Oy is a company owned by the Finnish Food and Drink Industries’ Federation, Finnish Grocery Trade Association and Finnish Chambers of Commerce. Our CEO is Jukka Kehusmaa and the board consists of Heli Tammivuori (chairman, ETL), Kari Luoto (PTY), Taneli Mero (Valio), Marko Bergholm (Fazer) and Stina Wikberg (Finnish Chambers of Commerce).
