GS1 Synkka version release 3.1.35

The GS1 Synkka product information service will be updated to a new version on May 15, 2026. On this page, we will inform customers who utilize the service integration in more detail about the upcoming 3.1.35 version update.

Update schedule

The test environment update will begin on April 1, 2026.
Customer testing in the test environment will begin on April 22, 2026.
The production rollout and outage will begin on Friday, May 15 at 6 p.m. and end on Monday, May 18. 9:00 AM

Changes to attributes and code lists

New attributes

There will be no new attributes in the update.

Removed attributes

The following attributes will be removed:

Changes will be made to the animal feed data in line with international usage needs. We are clarifying the maintenance of the data by removing attributes and providing clearer instructions for reporting them.

The attributes, and the data given to them, will be removed in the May update of GS1 Synkka.

In addition, in connection with the May update, we are changing the finnish names of two attributes in the Animal feeding group.
