GS1 Synkka version update 3.1.36

The GS1 Synkka product information service will be updated to a new version on 21 August 2026. On this page, we provide customers using the service integration with more detailed information about the upcoming 3.1.36 version update.

Update schedule

  • The test environment update begins on 13 July 2026.
  • Customer testing in the test environment begins on 29 July 2026.
  • Production deployment and service outage begin on Friday 21 August at 18:00 and end on Monday 24 August at 9:00 EEST.

This update does not introduce any new attributes or remove any attributes.

Changes to attributes

The new Finnish names of these attributes are:

GPC-tuoteluokitus (3122) (was GPC-ryhmittelyn Brick-koodi)

GPC tuoteluokituksen kuvaus (3123) (was GPC Brick-koodin kuvaus)

GPC tuoteluokituksen nimi (3124) (was GPC Brick-koodin nimi); in addition, the field length was increased to 250 characters.

GPC-luokituksen attribuutin tyyppi (3125) (was GPC-ryhmittelyn attribuutin tyyppi)

GPC-luokituksen attribuutin arvo (3126) (was GPC-ryhmittelyn attribuutin arvo)

StackingFactorType (3413): the way this information is reported will change. The code list was restricted to make data entry and reception easier, and the names were edited to be easier to understand. Removed values are migrated to the value Unspecified. In future, stacking factor will be reported using only three values:
