GS1 Synkka version release 3.1.31

The GS1 Synkka product information service will be updated to a new version on May 24, 2025. This page provides detailed information about the upcoming 3.1.31 version update for customers utilising the service integration.

You can find the entire Finnish data model and the change document related to each version update on the Documentation page. The change document contains detailed information about each change mentioned on this page. The xxx marking indicates that the ID number is not yet available but will be updated during early April.

Update Schedule

  • The test environment will be unavailable from 4th April 2025.
  • Customer testing in the test environment will begin on 22nd April 2025.
  • Production environment interruption starts on Friday, May 23rd at 6 p.m. and end on Monday, May 26th at 9 a.m. (EEST).
    (Unfortunately, the newsletter we sent out on March 31st had wrong dates for the production environment update. Above are the correct dates. We apologize for the error.)

Carbon footprint information warnings and errors

When reporting carbon footprint information, the following must be provided: Cfp Boundaries Code, Cfp Country Code, Cfp Date, Cfp Value Verification Code,  Cfp Value and Cfp Methodology Code

If cfpValueVerificationMeasurementUnitCode is equal KG_CO2_EQ_PER_FU then cfpFunctionalUnit must be given

We will create test products in the test environment during April so that you can test the transfer of carbon footprint information.
