GS1 Synkka version release 3.1.32

The GS1 Synkka product information service will be updated to a new version on August 23, 2025. This page provides detailed information about the upcoming 3.1.32 version update for customers utilising the service integration.

Update Schedule

  • The test environment will be unavailable from July 17. 2025.
  • Customer testing in the test environment will begin on July 28. 2025.
  • Production environment interruption starts on Friday, August 22. at 6 p.m. and end on Monday, August 25. at 9 a.m. (EEST).

 

Changes to code lists    

The following code lists will have new values, some or all of which will be implemented in Finland: 

  • Battery Type Code (214)
  • Origin Of Wine Code (4832)
  • Platform Type Code (1724)
  • Allergen Type (20)
  • Claim Element Code (5318) 

  

The following code lists will have new values, which will not be implemented in Finland: 

  • Packaging Marked Label Accreditation Code (1837)
  • Preservation Technique Code (804, 836) 

 

Changes to validations  

Outdated validation rules will be removed, these have not been in operation because they relate to information that is no longer provided.

  • 3.1.33 November update: 15th November 2025
  • 3.1.34 February update: CANCELLED
  • 3.1.35 May update: 16th May 2026
