GS1 Synkka version release 3.1.33

The GS1 Synkka product information service will be updated to a new version on November 15, 2025. This page provides detailed information about the upcoming 3.1.33 version update for customers utilising the service integration.

You can see the details of each change mentioned on this page in the change document. The xxxx marking means that the ID number does not yet exist, but it will be updated in early October.

Update Schedule   

  • The test environment update will begin on October 2, 2025.
  • Customer testing in the test environment will begin on October 20, 2025
  • Production environment interruption will begin on Friday, November 14 at 6 p.m. and end on Monday, November 17 at 9 a.m. (EEST).  

Changes to attributes and code lists

New attributes  

The update will introduce 4 new attributes related to providing food ingredients. 

  • Ingredient Group Code (7075) 
  • Ingredient Group Content Percentage (7077) 
  • Ingredient Group Name (7076)  
  • Ingredient Group Quantity (7078)  

 

Removed attributes 

Following attributes will be removed: 

  • Additive Name (1161) 
  • Level Of Containment Code (1162) 
  • Special Item Code (1066) 
  • Cancelled Date Time (3251)  

 

Changes to attributes and/or code lists  

The following attributes will have a name change to the Finnish name (here is the new name): 

  • Tuotteen lopetus (3253) Discontinued Date Time
  • Rahtikirjan lisätiedot (3669) Hazardous Material Additional Information
  • VAK-luokituskoodi (3673) Dangerous Goods Classification Code
  • Rajoitetut määrät (4480) Dangerous Goods Limited Quantity Index

ADRTunnelRestrictionCode (3662) has been a text field. This will be replaced by a code list.

Changes to validations  

There are several changes to validations, i.e. warnings and errors:

  • 1 validation is removed
  • 4 validations are changed
  • 8 new validation rules are introduced
