GS1 Synkka version release 3.1.37

The GS1 Synkka product information service will be updated to a new version on November 13. 2026. This page provides detailed information about the upcoming 3.1.37 version update for customers utilising the service integration.

You can find the entire Finnish data model and the change document related to each version update on the Documentation page. The change document contains detailed information about each change mentioned on this page. The Finnish data profile will also be used in the GS1 Data service in the future. Consequently, the document has been updated regarding ID numbers to make the BMS ID—which is used internationally and in GS1 Data—more prominent on the tabs.

Update Schedule

  • The test environment will be unavailable from 8th October.
  • Customer testing in the test environment will begin on 30th October 2026.

  • Production environment interruption starts on Friday, 13th November at 6 p.m. and end on Monday, 16th November at 9 a.m. (EET).

The following code lists will have new values, which will be implemented in Finland: 
  • Additive Name (Synkka Id 821) (BMS Id 1272)
  • Consumer Sales Condition Code (Synkka Id 2954) (BMS Id 3325)
  • Packaging Raw Material Code (Synkka Id 4666) (BMS Id 6306)
  • Packaging Raw Material Type Code (Synkka Id 4664) (BMS Id 6311)
  • Growing Method Code (Synkka Id 7074) (BMS Id 8759)
  • Carbon Footprint Boundaries Code (Synkka Id 7045) (BMS Id 8734)

The following code lists will have new values, which will not be implemented in Finland: 
  • Country codes, multiple attributes use this.
