EDI message

Many stores and wholesalers use electronic EDI messages to receive products and maintain product balances. An EDI message (Electronic Data Interchange) is an electronic message that allows companies to exchange data from one system to another in a standardised format without manual work. • Product information and price catalogues (PRICAT): The supplier transmits product information and prices, for example when launching a new product or when the price changes.
• Receiving advice (RECADV): The customer confirms that they have received the order.
• Invoices (INVOIC): The supplier sends an electronic invoice.
